Open Space explains how it handles the information used to provide private wellbeing, membership and counseling services.

Information we hold

We hold your encrypted login email or phone number, password hashes, public alias, account status, payments, chosen wellbeing responses, private notes you submit, bookings and service messages. Counsellor accounts also include professional identity and credential records.

How information is used

Information is used for authentication, membership administration, counselor verification, bookings, safety, customer support and legal compliance. Wellbeing responses, journals, counseling notes and messages are not used for advertising targeting.

Who can access it

Customers are represented to counselors by their public alias. Authorized operations staff may access payment receipts and counselor credentials. Access should be limited to staff who need it for their assigned work.

Storage and security

Private text and login contact details are encrypted, sessions use secure cookies, and uploaded receipts and credentials are stored outside public web directories. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may request correction, an export, or deletion of your account subject to safety, accounting and legal retention requirements. Contact the support address displayed by Open Space operations.

Retention

Registered account, journal, wellbeing, booking, payment and counsellor records have no automatic expiry and are retained indefinitely unless removed through an available delete control, an approved erasure request or a legal requirement. Temporary guest accounts expire and are removed separately. Closing your account disables access and ends active sessions; it does not erase stored records. Contact support to request erasure; admin reviews identity, scope and any required exceptions before arranging removal. Backup copies use a separate seven-day retention period and are rotated after successful backups.
